NEUROFEEDBACK AND ATTENTION DEFICITS

While many other application of neurofeedback are still exploratory, The American Academy of Pediatrics considers neurofeedback a level one intervention for attention deficits. Neurofeedback is a safe, non-invasive  brain training option to complement the treatment of attention-deficit disorders in adults, children, and adolescents.

'Attention Deficit Disorder' diagnoses have reached a health crisis level. Many people with attention deficits who are otherwise highly intelligent and creative are impacted by this condition at school, professionally, or in personal relationships. 

There are many types of attention deficits. In his book “Healing ADD”, Daniel Amen, MD, a respected expert on brain health, classifies attention deficits in seven categories, each with its own symptoms. For all types, he recommends neurofeedback as a non-medication training-based complementary approach. Amen clinics have offered successful neurofeedback training for decades. 

We use a brain activity imaging technique called qEEG to identify the brainwave patterns that can be targeted for training and apply learning protocols to boost brain circuit resilience in the fight against attention deficits.
